At Bark & Blossom, we provide calm, one-to-one dog grooming in a safe and welcoming environment. Every groom is tailored to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they receive our full attention from start to finish. Our focus is on creating a positive, stress-free experience while helping your dog look and feel their very best.

MY STORY:

Hi, I’m Ruby Allison, the owner of Bark and Blossom. I am 21 years old and have always had a passion for working with animals. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career where I could spend my days caring and helping dogs.

I have over three years of experience working in a professional dog grooming salon and began my dog grooming apprenticeship two years ago. During this time, I have worked with a wide range of breeds and personalities, developing the skills to provide a calm, safe, and enjoyable grooming experience. I am also canine first aid trained, ensuring your dog’s well-being is always my top priority.

When I’m not grooming, you’ll usually find me cooking in the kitchen or spending time with my Golden Retrievers, Clifford and Bonnie.

PET ACCESSORIES:

Alongside Bark & Blossom, I also run my own pet accessories brand called ‘Lead Me on’ where I design and create stylish, high-quality collars, leads, harnesses, and other dog accessories. Combining practicality, comfort, and beautiful designs, each product is carefully selected with both dogs and their owners in mind. A range of our accessories is available to browse and purchase at the salon, allowing clients to treat their dogs to something special while they visit for their groom.
